CBSE CLASS 10th DATE
SHEET/TIME TABLE 2014: New Delhi situated Central board for secondary education
(C.B.S.E) has announced its Class 10th Date Sheet/Time Table 2014.
This year exams will start from 01 March 2014 and end on 19 March 2014. Around
13.25 lacs students have registered with C.B.S.E for Class 10th
examination; out of the total 7.29 lacs students will attempt their respective
school based examination on the other hand 5.96 lacs will attempt for the
external CBSE board based examination.

History of CBSE Board: The first Board of India; UP Board was set up in the
year 1921 in the city of Uttar Pradesh Allahabad by an act of United Provinces
Legislative Council after the set up of UP Board Government has suggested to
formulate another board that covers all states of the country and not focuses
on particular state. In addition to this; in the year 1952 it has set up a
Board named as ‘Central Board of Secondary Education’ later CBSE Board was reconstituted
in the year 1962. CBSE Board
is a Board; which is self-financed handles both recurring and non-recurring
expenditure without any grant-in-aid either from the Central Govt. or from any
other source/sources.
